I’m very excited to pre-announce to my fans that I’m currently in development for an Off-Broadway show, tentatively titled “Murray Hill is Mr. Showbiz” with fabulous producers at The Work Room Productions. Pond Press proudly announces the publication of SHOW, noted photographer Henry Horenstein’s long‐anticipated look at modern burlesque. The photographs were made from 2003 to 2009, and serve as an homage to the neo‐burlesque resurgence of the last several years. Not only is Murray featured in the book, he had the honor of writing the introduction. The book is for sale at pondpress.com. Check back soon for info on book party April 8th. A film by William A. Anderson, Henry Horenstein, and Hillary Spera, called THE MURRAY HILL STORY, will be released later in 2010 by Swinging Door Films.

Gang, we’ve been having a blast at the new Wednesday night LE BINGO at Le Poisson Rouge on Bleecker Street between Thompson and Sullivan Street. So we decided to throw a holiday Le Bingo edition on December 9th in the MAIN ROOM! Yes, kids, that’s right, more space, more tables, more tater tots, and bigger jackpot. MISS LEZ PAGEANT ROCKED!

The notorious MISS LEZ PAGEANT was one of the best in the event’s history! MISS BUTCH MAMAS KS Stevens was crowned the winner. The sold-out crowd at the new Knitting Factory in Williamsburg was incredible and all the contestants were winners. As usual, there were some controversies and some eye-brow raising moments. Dita Von Teese show a knock-out!

Gang, back from LA after hosting the big Dita Von Teese show at Avalon. What can I say, I was blown away by her performances, especially her debut “The Opium Den.” Wowzie, it was all showbiz! The press buzzed about the big night, read all about it and see pictures from: LA Weekly, PAPER, Rose Apocado, E! The audience was incredible, I’m coming back soon for more fun.

Hey pals! Just back from LA after the Dita Von Teese show I hosted. What a wonderful evening of burlesque entertainment. Dita really is the “International Queen of Burlesque.” Her performances were jaw-dropping, heat-inducing, and I’ve never seen such stellar production value at a burlesque show! She elevates burlesque to a whole new level of showbiz. Check out a video montage of the show and see for yourself! Don’t blink, you’ll miss me on the red carpet.
